Karis was born in New York and he entered the luxury fashion industry in 2012. The designer earlier worked as a brand director at the luxury staple Helmut Lang. Besides this, he has designed outfits for several luxury fashion brands including Hugo Boss, Miu Miu, Saint Laurent, Off-White and many others. His flair for creativity is very much evident in his designs including graphics, colour palettes, original fonts and garment silhouettes. It has also influenced and inspired many other luxury fashion labels in the world.
The daily-wear casual outfits or say the normcore fashion trends is something very common. “I always wanted to be unique with my designs. “The best thing about designing outfits for any luxury fashion label is that the outfits speak for the brand. The outfits are identified by their design. That’s where creativity to stand out and be unique comes in the picture”, stated Karis. Some of the notable names like Virgil Abloh, Demna Gvasalia, Heron Preston and Marcelo Burlon have earlier appreciated his designs and are smitten by Dowe’s work.
With having an experience of a decade, Karis Dowe has designed outfits for major luxury fashion labels of the world. He simultaneously started working for his venture Wildphase. The New York-based luxury fashion label is all set to create new standards with its innovative designs. Dowe being the captain of the ship is leaving no stone unturned to bring out the best designs of Wildphase with all the new technological innovations.
