With a height of 6’0 and a weight of 185 pounds, Brock Williams is not your typical basketball player. In a sport where giants tower over the competitors, he is considered undersized. But, Brock is more than just a player. It is his dream to shine in the NBA one day. He is a passionate, record-breaking point guard.
Brock is currently a freshman at High Point University and a Division 1 basketball player. Additionally, he owns Brockgodummy Apparel and is signed to PSD Underwear and Boosted Biz as a NIL brand.
It has happened to Brock many times throughout his career that people have undermined him at first glance. It was often thought that he would not be able to succeed since he was not strong or tall enough. As opposed to letting the taunts get to him, Brock decided to use them as a fuel and work harder than everyone else.
As a result, he learned how to use his natural athleticism and speed to ride higher than other players. As of today, Brock is 42 inches tall and runs the 40 yard dash in 4.4 seconds, an impressive feat given his height. Brock puts on a show for the fans when he gets on the court and gives them something to remember the game by.
It has taken Brock years to reach the top of his game, where he is now. He came up with the idea when he was 4 years old, and his mom bought him a mini hoop from the store. Brock was then ignited with a spark that led him down the path he is now on. At age 10, he began practicing every night with his dad so he could master the moves and techniques of his idol Kyrie Irving. Despite his parents’ disagreements, both supported him and cheered him on.
From his freshman year at Burlington Christian Academy, Brock made a lasting impression. Brock received four state and state-championship awards throughout his high school career. With an average of 34 points and 5 assists per game in his sophomore and freshman seasons, he established himself as a formidable scorer and player. After transferring to Greensboro Day School, Brock won the 3A State Championship of NCISAA his junior year.
The following season, he managed to maintain his winning streak, averaging 11 points and 4 assists per game. After that season, Brock was recognized as an all-state and all-conference player.
While attending Burlington Christian Academy for his senior year, Brock averaged 31.5 points and 4 assists per game. Additionally, he scored 50 points in a single game that season. As part of Brock’s senior night award, a 2,000 ball was presented to him because he had earned 2,318 career points during his high school career. In addition to the 44-point victory, Brock beat an NBA player named Isaiah Todd. In addition to his school activities, he played AAU basketball with Team Loaded NC, Team Loaded, AIA All-Stars, and WACG.
Brock has kept his eye on the prize no matter what he has accomplished so far. Every day he works hard, hoping one day to realize his dream and make his parents proud. In addition, Brock is an avid sneakerhead and would love to be sponsored by either Nike or Jordan. Until then, he plans to continue setting records and breaking old ones each day.
